Guruji loves everyone unconditionally, those who appear to be close to him are just people who are just header of the ships to carry forth the knowledge. and this has been my recent learning even though it is always said and heard a million times, his love is unconditional, experiencing it is something different and understanding it through the head as well, as our feelings always keep changing... So when you hear people saying you know this/that person is close to Guruji just disregard it as b.s. Know that you are closer to your Guru, closer than the air near you, the closest possible is the Guru(Guru is nothing but your own self. Guru, God and Self all one and the same as Amol Shende quoted, he is one of the rock stars of our Satsangs), no one can come in between you and your Guru, always keep this in mind. Jai Gurudev

doesn't matter
For those of you who are like me (at least how I used to be), Guruji did not look at me, he did not talk to me, he smiled at me, you know he looked at me 3 times today into my eyes, he did not reply to me, he turned his face away....this book newly released in Europe on Gurudev's birthday "Walking the Path" by Frederique Lebelley really helped(me), her experience with our beloved.
one other little secret....
I did not want to be an Art of Living teacher at all.. after my first course, when I used to go for follow ups, their intro talks I was like, who would be an art of living teacher. They have regular jobs and they teach in the evenings on top of it they have to gather people for courses and they don't get paid, what kind of a job is this!! i don't want to become one at all.. And somewhere something shifted, don't know exactly what or when, but the wish came in, no idea from where :-)
anyway one day whether we want it or not, as I 've heard some teachers, some Swamiji's say we all are going to be teachers one day... and from my personal experience too... and as Guruji says waiting is good, its Tapasya, then we know the value of it as well...
my ttc experience
I applied for my TTC phase one 3 times and did not get called for at all, before doing my TTC last year. I was new from U.S. and was expecting things to work systematically, so was asking for a reason why I wasn't called for after strong recommendation from my U.S. Teacher but you know how our Ashram works...nothing at all absolutely no reply from TTC desk's end... after the 3rd time, I stopped applying and just started volunteering in Chennai... From there on no turning back, absolutely no feverishness to become a teacher and just went ahead with the work, I just let it free, whenever it has to happen its fine by me. and when my TTC i was supposed to apply, I was busy with UTSAV and not too concerned about applying(past memory) also until last date, Anjana didi, Kavi didi, Vivek bhaiya all told me to...
and it all happened...with no janjat (trouble).. and I used to say it as a joke earlier when so many of my friends used to ask (what happened when are u doing u'r ttc), see they are not calling me for TTC, Guruji is directly going to make me a teacher in one shot(was just taking it light)... and it manifested, my batch was the first TTC that happened combined 21 days of phase 1 and phase2 that too exclusive YES Plus.. Thanks to one and all and in gratitude to Guruji...
I guess when the time is right, everything will fall in place in a much beautiful way than we could ever imagine. If I had gotten called for, may be I would have become teacher but definitely not YES Plus as my seva wasn't with Yes plus at all that time. Guru brings out the best of us and he cares for us at least more than a 1000 times our mother. One other way of Guruji showing that he is doing his work on us constantly... and he being with us always...
LOVE you my dear Guruji
trouble maker...
Do you remember the trouble maker in a course I mentioned... He had completed his Blessing course recently...in 6 months of art of living, he is already a blesser!!
you never know which bud opens first!!
Nature reveals itself when its time!!
its nice not to plan sometimes or most of the times (in my case) kind of keep things open you never know what life has in store for you to experience, i feel its beautiful this way.... than planning and planning and planning..... and things anyway happen differently right!!, why break our head with plans. Lets open our arms to welcome the unknown what nature has in store for us... You know Dinesh da once said, he used to come to Ashram without a return ticket and see what happens, I have been doing the same thing for the last 3 years of my life for those who know me well... and its absolutely blissful I tell you.... letting the nature decide for you... ofcourse, it can be used as Kutarka if I don't plan anything how can I do anything... Plan but keep somethings at least open, don't be stuck with the plan...leave some room for it to change even when you make it....
all I knew was I am going to Europe for a month and be with Guruji and things unfolded itself never had plans of Vienna but it happened...and its all for good, lots of new experiences, approaching strangers in Austria without knowing their language, the culture, the transport systems nothing.... absolutely nothing at all to begin with... roaming on the streets just with a ticket absolutely zero money in the bag and no phone, yes no phone at all, meeting people at the park, universities, student organizations with not even proper attire... you know nothing matters at all, just Guruji with us enough, lots of interesting experiences... keep watching!!! more to come

the very first time
today, Jan 4th Sunday in Bawu's kitchen, the very first time cooked dinner for Bawu. Hema Di and I made Kichadi. learnt how Bawu would like it, got to know what to use and what not to use well some of it at least to begin with.
And made dosa for Dinesh da with a special tomato chutney which he and didi just loved. Recipe to follow in future posts. It was great fun and such an honor for me, got to serve them as well with all the more love.
After which Bawu, Dinesh da and Rashmin along with few of us were playing a strategy based board game called Agricola means farmer in latin for about 3 hours at the dining table. Ofcourse Bawu won. Experienced the 4th source of energy, calm meditative happy state of mind even though i slept like only 3 hrs the previous day still energetic writing this post on 5th morning actually.
Its one of the memorable days of my life.
P.S. being a pakka tamilian, i tell u, it was the most perfect dosa mix made by Hema di's Mom. it tasted divine, i came to know how dosa could be an appetizer as well. Wow yummy....
